How to Upload and Analyze Audio Files
Easily Upload and Analyze Audio Files with Voxpopme’s Bulk Importer
In this video guide, you’ll learn how to upload and analyze audio files in Voxpopme using the Bulk Importer feature. This allows you to easily import and transcribe audio-only files for analysis, adding flexibility to your research process.
Key features include:
Bulk Media Import: Use the bulk importer to upload multiple audio files into Voxpopme. You can create a new project or add the audio files to an existing one, ensuring seamless integration into your research workflow.
Audio-Only Identification: When importing, add a new column to your spreadsheet labeled “Audio Only” and populate it with the value ‘1’. This tells Voxpopme that the media being uploaded is audio-only, which will be processed accordingly.
Customizable Data Fields: Rename or customize column names during the import process to align with your specific data structure. Ensure media types like “Audio Only” and other identifiers such as file names are correctly mapped.
Efficient Import Process: Once your import is submitted, you can track its progress on the import page, though you don’t need to stay on the page while the process completes. Once finished, the audio files will be available for analysis.
Audio Transcription: After upload, the audio files will be transcribed automatically. You can view these transcripts alongside the audio in the responses tab, with any additional data accessible under the data tab.
These features make it simple to manage and analyze audio files within Voxpopme, ensuring you can capture valuable insights even from non-video formats.
