Import Transcript Data into Voxpopme
Easily Import Transcript Data into Voxpopme for Text-Based Analysis
In this video guide, you’ll learn how to import transcript data into Voxpopme without any accompanying media files. This process is ideal for analyzing text responses or large datasets where only the transcript is needed.
Key features include:
Preparing Your Spreadsheet: Ensure your data is clean by removing special characters or symbols. Replace these with words as needed, and add a column labeled “Text Only,” setting the data in this column to 1. This tells Voxpopme that the import will be text-only, without media files.
Importing Text Data: Create a new project and select the “Import Video” template, then use the Bulk Importer to upload your transcript data. Voxpopme will automatically identify column names, and you can rename these fields within the platform if necessary.
Mapping Transcript Data: During the import process, ensure that at least one column is marked as “Transcript Data” and that the “Text Only” column is identified as additional data. This ensures that Voxpopme treats the imported text properly.
Tracking Import Status: You can monitor the progress of your import from the management section, but you don’t need to wait on the page while the data uploads. Once the process is complete, all transcript data will be available in the Projects tab.
Advanced Filters and Data View: After import, you can use advanced filters to sift through the transcript data. The text-only responses will appear without media files, and any additional data will be visible under the data tab.
These features make it simple to import and analyze transcript data within Voxpopme, providing a flexible option for text-based insights.
