Voxpopme secures top spot at KPMG mobile startup competition
KPMG has announced the Midlands finalist of its Best British Mobile Startup 2017 competition, with local video insight specialist company, Voxpopme, taking the gong.
12 startups from across the region went head to head at the professional service firm’s One Snowhill office in Birmingham, each competing for the chance to win a trip to Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.KPMG will take Voxpopme, along with three other finalists from the London, Bristol and Leeds heats, to Mobile World Congress* next February. The four finalists will get to showcase their businesses to judges and investors, and pitch for the chance to be crowned Best British Mobile Startup 2017.
The Voxpopme team secured the finalist spot after impressing the judges with their ability to bring consumers’ voices to life through capturing rich, self-recorded video feedback using their digital devices. Throughout their pitch, they displayed their ability to transform video feedback into usable data and compelling stories with an intuitive suite of video analysis tools.
The judging panel at the event included local industry experts: Packt CEO, Dave Maclean, Julian Dennard of Mercia Fund, Mike Brooman of Vanti, and strategic communications consultant, Jennifer Edwards.
